We had a fabulous time at Aravaipa Farms. The new owners have put a lot of time and love into the place and more is to come! Our Casita was cozy, clean and stocked with yummy breakfasts. The meals cooked by Polly and Katie were tremendous, and featured a farm-to-table cuisine. If you are looking for an out(way out) of the way place with hiking, food and comfort, this is it. I do recommend a truck or high-clearance SUV type vehicle to make it easy.
Carol is a warm, caring host and the food is amazing. I had a great time here and plan to have a family reunion here in the future. Buckle up and drive over the creek and leave your worries behind you!

We had a wonderful stay with Carol this past weekend. Quiet, eclectic, peaceful, I recommend planning some downtime off the grid here. Great hike up & down the Creek. Bring your binoculars for fun bird watching.
Carol Steele and Across the Creek, when coupled with an Aravaipa Canyon hike, are the best kept secret in Arizona. Food, company, beauty and solitude all combine to virtually require every Arizonan to see it at least once. Hiking the creek for ten miles is an amazing experience. But so is listening to Carol Steel s life story and having warm bread melt in your mouth. Just sitting outside your casita and seeing the stars or watching the mountains is a grand experience. Enjoy!
